Achieving your goals as the customer is critically important. Just as critical is creating images that are unique and creative for you.  I want you to feel the ability to be expressive and comfortable working with me.  I use professional Canon cameras and lenses in my work. I enjoy working on-location, and also have a small home studio suitable for some portrait and headshot work. I'm a member of Professional Photographers of America.

My areas of specialty are high school & college senior/graduation portraits, child portraits, sports/action, small to medium events (photo-documentation/journalism), people/candids, and landscapes. I am capable of working in low-light venues if necessary. I work well with children, youth, and the elderly. I'm comfortable in any setting and am capable of getting to most difficult spots to shoot. I freelance for the Mountain Media family of newspapers, covering the New River Valley/Roanoke Valley; am a sports candid photographer for Shutterfly/LifeTouch; work with sports teams; and have my own clients. I am affiliated with several companies that I do regular commercial work for. It's all a great joy in my life that I feel blessed to be able to do. I have been a professional photographer for over a decade.
